Account Manager

Position Description: The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing client relationships and representing Enerwise products/services in support of target vertical markets. The individual in this position will ensure client satisfaction by addressing customer needs, solution alternatives and conveying product capabilities.

  • Assess customer needs and determine appropriate course of action based on current company resources.
  • Effectively analyze energy-related data in order to support profitable sales and business decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge level in current competitive marketplace developments.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret tariff rates and load reduction models
  • Identify and drive opportunities to up-sell products/services in order to grow assigned accounts.
  • Produce proposals, letters and contracts from information obtained from field sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in managing customer relationships. Routinely identify new offerings that will bring value to the customer and profit to the company.
  • Interacts effectively with all company departments to ensure proper delivery of products/services.
  • Ensure data integrity associated with assigned accounts.
  • Research customer information and analyze information to recognize trends relative to customer operations.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for delivery to customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 3 years experience in account management
    (with large enterprise clientele)
  • Experience co-selling/up-selling products and services
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Business Administration
  • Experience in energy markets
