Enerwise Global Technologies Provides Hourly Load Profile and Hourly Pricing Information to Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation
Kennett Square, PA — March 9, 2005 — Enerwise Global Technologies, a leader in enterprise energy management and managed services, announced today it is providing services to Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation to assist its largest customers in adapting to new hourly pricing tariff rates based on energy prices tied to ISO New York's day-ahead market. Central Hudson is a subsidiary of CH Energy Group, Inc., which operates in the regulated Transmission and Distribution market. The Central Hudson-branded website will begin by serving the utility's largest 70 customers whose electric demand exceeds 1,000 kW. The Enerwise system has interactive graphing capabilities that allow hourly ISO New York's energy pricing and electricity demand and consumption to be shown on a dynamic basis. The customers will be able to create multiple alarm and notification parameters as well as create customized reports for kWh, kW, energy price, power factor, etc.
The Enerwise service also provides "what if" analysis. Customers can forecast the effects of operational or organizational changes on energy consumption and price and participate in the new energy programs with confidence.
