Enerwise Global Technologies and Subsidiary Win Five-Year Pennsylvania Contract

Kennett Square, PA — April 10, 2007 — Enerwise Global Technologies, a market leader in smart grid, demand response, clean energy and energy infrastructure management services with over 1700 megawatts of demand response and renewable energy capacity in the commercial, institutional and industrial markets, and subsidiary Clean Power Markets, a provider of infrastructure at the wholesale level for the renewable power market to accurately track and verify green power transactions, have been selected as Pennsylvania's Alternative Energy Credit Program Administrator by the Public Utility Commission.

Pennsylvania's Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS) requires electric distribution companies and electric generation suppliers to supply 18% of its electricity using alternative-energy resources by 2020, using both "Tier I" energy sources such as photovoltaic energy, solar-thermal energy, wind, low-impact hydro, geothermal, biomass, biologically-derived methane coal mine methane and fuel cells; and "Tier II" sources such as waste coal, distributed generation systems, demand side management, large scale hydro, municipal solid waste, pulping process and wood-manufacturing byproducts, and integrated coal gasification technology. During the five-year contract, Enerwise and Clean Power Markets will administer, verify, track and report on compliance with the initial phases of program by the 11 electrical utilities in the Commonwealth. In addition, Enerwise will work closely with PJM on Pennsylvania's behalf as the group carries out its responsibilities as the underlying registry for large scale renewable resources.

"Enerwise and Clean Power Markets are pleased to have been chosen to administer such an important program for the Commonwealth," said Dean Musser, president and CEO of Enerwise. "Alternative and renewable energy benefit the environment, save money and help maintain the integrity of the electrical infrastructure, and we look forward to putting our combined talents, including Enerwise's strong local presence, patented software technology and multi-disciplinary engineering resources, and Clean Power Markets proven renewable portfolio standards administration experience, to work for Pennsylvania."

Enerwise and its subsidiaries including Clean Power Markets currently manage and monitor 1700 MW of demand response and renewable energy resources. The company offers demand response participants a seamless, end-to-end solution that addresses regulatory, operational, metering, monitoring and notification requirements.
