Maryland Stadium Authority Selects Enerwise Global Technologies for Demand Response Initiatives

Kennett Square, PA — May 14, 2007 — Enerwise Global Technologies, a leader in demand response and energy infrastructure management services, today announced that the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) has selected the company as its curtailment service provider for PJM's Capacity and Real Time Economics (RTE) Demand Response programs.

PJM, Regional Transmission Organization (RTO), operates the world's largest competitive wholesale energy market and ensures the reliability of the largest centrally dispatched control area in North America, covering a population of 51 million and a peak demand of approximately 145,000 megawatts. The group's Capacity and Real Time Economic programs are responsible for contributing to the reliability and stability of the regional grid. The RTE Demand Response Program enables participants to realize revenue streams as they reduce energy consumption in response to high energy prices. The Capacity program rewards power users for reducing peak load during critical power events.

The Maryland Stadium Authority manages four key sports, office, and entertainment facilities that are located on the Camden Yards Complex in Baltimore; Oriole Park at Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens, the B&O Warehouse Office Building, and Camden Station, home to the Sports Legends and Geppi Entertainment Museums.

MSA has become the latest high profile customer to select Enerwise for its demand response experience and leadership role within the PJM service territory and its comprehensive suite of energy services. MSA utilizes their ice storage system to produce ice during off peak hours thereby reducing the need to run its chillers during peak energy and demand hours. Phil Cohen, MSA Director of Engineering and Maintenance Services views their participation as a "win-win" scenario. "We are pleased to participate in this important and practical energy program with Enerwise," said Mr. Cohen. "The use of our ice storage system provides us the opportunity to optimize our entire energy infrastructure and reduce our overall energy budget, at the same time contributing to the reliability of the regional power grid."

Enerwise and its subsidiaries currently manage and monitor 1850 MW of demand response and renewable energy resources. The company offers demand response participants a seamless, end-to-end solution that addresses regulatory, operational, metering, monitoring and notification requirements.
